With two separate properties – one of which is her full-time home – and an itch to upgrade, Mim knows quality work when she sees it. After having worked with Lapides Construction six different times, “they’ve become even more distinctly the professionals who know what to do almost anywhere.”
We like to think our 'once' customers are our 'always' customers, and that's a great place to be. Ken & Mary are a great example of this. We previously undertook a major home renovation which included finishing the basement, building a two-story rear addition, a new wrap around porch and a 3-car garage.
The basic layout of this kitchen was functional but had a few problems. Changing the cooktop from the island to the main counter closer to the ovens made a lot of sense. Enlarging the island to accommodate seating added a new dimension and changing all the flooring on the first floor to hardwood really updated this home’s feeling of warmth and welcome.
Duncan and Debbie have a home that is surrounded by trees and has cedar shake siding. 10 years ago, when they came to Bob and said they wanted to add a main floor master bedroom suite and add living space, one of the critical elements was blending the interior and exterior so that it felt as though it had always been there. Lapides Construction ended up building them a family room addition with a master bathroom suite and a new deck.
